I am a mother that travels with my husband while he works. We carry along our 2 year old son and our pitt bull named Weeman. I have been a traveling worker since 2004 and when we had our son in 2009 I decided quite. Now, I get to site see while doing my wifely and motherly duties. Since we travel more than half of the year we are in and out of hotels and eat at different types of restaurants all the time. I decided that I would start sharing my thoughts and opinions on the places we visit.

Zoo World - Panama City Beach, FL
Southern Inn - Camden, Alabama
Southern Inn Motel & Restaurant is located in Camden, Alabama. It is only about 19 miles from the local paper mill in Pine Hill, Al. There are several fishing areas in this local area, so you can enjoy fishing tournaments, family fun, and camping. This hotel is around the 350.00 a week and it is very cozy. My family stayed at this location about 6 weeks. It is American family owned and operated. The staff is extremely nice and they will help you in any way they can. The rooms are very nice and the air conditioning works GREAT!!! I know personally they clean each rooms filters and air conditioners once a month to ensure that they work properly. I absolutely loved my stay at this motel and we were there for Halloween of 2011 and the owner even gives out candy for all the little ones. This motel has a pool, washer and dryers, and comes with frigerators and microwaves. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area of Camden, Alabama

Crabs we got them all - Pensacola Beach, Florida
Crabs we got them in Pensacola Beach, Florida is very easy to find so it's location is a good one for tourist. It seems to be a very friendly environment for all types of people from college students all the way to mothers like myself. Yes it is a very fast paced restaurant with tons of people coming and going. They also have an abundance of alcohol flowing through the place. One con about the alcohol choices would be, they need to serve Budweiser on tap not serve in the tin bottle. If your beer gets hot fast that usually is a sign the costumer will not refer the place to their friends. The appetizers was great, a dozen of raw oysters on half shell are to die for. As for the main course of Alaskan Crab, they were a little hard to crack open and remove the crab meat. They are not the worst I have eaten by far but they were a little over cooked. The Mahi-Mahi was cooked very well and I am giving that a great review. Over all Crabs is a decent place to dine just know you are going into a loud environment so it is a great place to take your kids because no one can hear them act up. The prices are a little on the high side for a working class family but I'm sure you can find coupons or go when they have specials.
